Body & Soul Initiative is a community-based, non-profit organization supporting vulnerable and marginalized communities in Uganda.
Body & Soul Initiative (BSI) is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable and marginalized communities in Uganda.
Our work focuses on improving the lives of women, youth, prisoners, the elderly and persons with disabilities through programs that promote health, education, economic empowerment and social inclusion.
The Teso sub-region has faced several socio-economic challenges, including the effects of past conflicts, natural disasters such as floods and locust invasions, and widespread poverty.
These challenges have left many people, especially women, youth, widows, prisoners and the elderly, without adequate access to education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
Body & Soul Initiative was established to support the holistic transformation of communities by helping vulnerable people access opportunities that improve their quality of life and enable them to become self-reliant.
